Wisconsin Evolution at the 2024 Wisconsin Science Festival!
Several members of Wisconsin Evolution and students studying evolution brought their enthusiasm and expertise to the public for the 2024 Wisconsin Science Festival! This included three different events geared towards both K-12 students and a general audience. Thanks to our volunteers and the many others across UW, the festival was able to offer dozens of hands-on science experiences to thousands of attendees. Estimates of the attendance for each event are:
-
Discovery Expo Field Trip Day (10/15) – 1,100
-
Science on the Square (10/17) – 20,000
-
Discovery Expo Community Day (10/19) – 650
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to bring evolution to the community!
